Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Julia’s Just Desserts is here to help! In this 1.5-hour class, I'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).

We’ll be enjoying spooky cute favorites for a 1.5 hour cookie decorating class! If you have a bone to pick with royal icing, you’ll love this fang-tastic class. All treats, no tricks - I promise!

This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We’ll be decorating a set of 6 scary-fun Halloween themed cookies - prepare for a “gourd” time with your pumpkin spice and everything nice!

We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

This class is on October 17, 2025 and starts promptly at 6:30pm and ends at 8pm so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - just make sure to buy a ticket for every person, we have a limited amount of seats available.

This class is good for all ages but this is at a wine bar so parents do need to be present. I do ask if your child is under 12 they must be accompanied by an adult and the adult must also purchase a ticket, if they are over 12, since this is a wine bar, please be on site. If you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit! The kits are great for kids at home, plus - we'll send you the class PowerPoint so you can teach them yourself after you’ve learned from me of course.
